Dr. Nakul Parashar

Consultant Psychiatrist – Director

Dr. Nakul Parashar is a senior Psychiatrist and a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrist (FRANZCP) and Royal college of Psychiatrists UK (FRCPsych). He is also an international Fellow of American Psychiatric Association and Associate Fellow of Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators.

He has been practising Psychiatry for over 22 years. He has a varied and diverse educational and professional background which includes practising in varying locations, cultures and countries having received his medical education and training in different countries including former Soviet Union, India, United Kingdom and Australia.

As a healthcare professional, he has extensive experience and knowledge in the field of disability services. He is passionate about empowering his clients and work with them in improving their quality of life. In pursuit of this, he has cofounded this company to provide much needed high quality compassionate, personalised care and have a positive impact in the community.

Dr Sujit Sharma

Dr. Sujit Sharma, a Consultant Specialist Psychiatrist with over 16 years of experience, is celebrated for his compassionate demeanour and advocacy. He tirelessly champions the well-being of Australians, particularly those with disabilities, offering cutting-edge mental health solutions and supporting NDIS participants.

Having obtained his specialist qualifications from the UK, Dr. Sharma has honed his expertise across various psychiatric sub-specialties, specializing in General Adult Psychiatry. Upon relocating to Australia in 2015, he achieved Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP). Throughout his career, Dr. Sharma has held numerous senior leadership positions, both in government and non-government organisations, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to advancing the field.

Driven by a steadfast dedication to enhancing his patients’ quality of life, he continues to serve as a beacon of hope and healing for people with mental and physical health disabilities, enriching lives with compassion, expertise, and unwavering dedication

Dr. Bharat Saluja

Dr. Saluja is an accomplished Senior Consultant Psychiatrist with over two decades of global experience, spanning Australia, Singapore, the UK, and India. As a passionate advocate for evidence-based care, Dr. Saluja has made a profound impact in the field of mental health, specialising in supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds and helping them overcome emotional and psychological challenges.

In his role as the Director of Kangaroo Care, Dr. Saluja brings his vast clinical expertise and leadership to a new dimension, providing comprehensive mental health and disability support services. Leveraging his extensive experience across community, inpatient, forensic, rural, and teaching hospital settings, he ensures that participants receive compassionate and tailored care that aligns with their unique needs.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Saluja served as the Unit Director for Young Persons Mental Health Service and Acute Inpatient Unit at Monash Health and holds the position of Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Monash University. His dedication to teaching and community service has been recognized through several prestigious awards for academic and clinical excellence.

As the leader of Kangaroo Care, Dr. Saluja is committed to expanding the reach of quality health care to individuals living with disabilities, promoting their independence and enhancing their quality of life.
